Abomination
Abomination, whose real name is Emil
Blonsky, is a character from Marvel
Comics and is one of the main enemies of
the superhero Hulk. He was originally a
spy of Yugoslavian origin working for the
KGB. Desiring the immense physical
power of the Hulk, Blonsky exposed
himself to a greater dose of gamma
radiation, which transformed him into a
massive green-skinned monster known as
the Abomination.
Unlike the Hulk, Abomination retains his
intelligence after his transformation and
does not revert back to his human form.
He possesses superhuman strength,
stamina, durability, and speed, with his
physical power being equivalent to, if not
greater than, that of the Hulk. His strength
enables him to lift approximately 100 tons,
and he can travel great distances very
quickly by leaping using his superhumanly
strong legs.
Abomination also has regenerative
abilities and an enhanced lung capacity,
allowing him to hold his breath
underwater for extended periods of time.
He can enter an inert state, allowing him
to survive for extended periods buried
beneath the surface of the Earth or in the
cold vacuum of space.
Abomination’s foremost foe is the Hulk,
and he often battles him to prove his
superiority. Despite his monstrous
appearance and often villainous actions,
Abomination is a complex character with a
rich backstory, making him a fascinating
figure in the Marvel universe.
