NightFall in Gotham
Chapter 1:
Vampiric Outbreak
The dusk settled over Gotham like a shroud, and with it came a silence that was
almost palpable. The city, known for its ceaseless clamor, lay eerily quiet as a new
predator stalked its streets. It began as a rumor, a whisper in the dark corners of
bars and back alleys. But soon, the evidence was undeniable—people were
disappearing.
Night after night, the list of the missing grew. The victims seemed to vanish into
thin air, leaving behind no trace except for a lingering sense of dread that
something unnatural was at play. The police were baffled, their investigations
leading nowhere, as if the perpetrators were ghosts.
In the heart of the city, the news spread like wildfire. Talk of vampires, creatures of
myth and legend, became the topic of every hushed conversation. Skeptics
scoffed, but the fear was real, and it was spreading faster than the shadows at
twilight.
As the city's elite locked themselves behind iron gates and the less fortunate
huddled around makeshift fires, a figure watched from the rooftops. Batman, the
guardian of Gotham, felt the weight of responsibility settle on his shoulders. The
night was his domain, and yet, it had been infiltrated by an ancient evil that
threatened to consume his city.
The Dark Knight knew that the time for action had come. Gotham needed him,
now more than ever. With a silent vow, he disappeared into the night, determined
to uncover the truth.
