Groot

Groot is a character from the Marvel Comics universe. He is a sentient, tree-like creature and is one of the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Groot is known for his loyalty and the special bond he shares with Rocket Raccoon, who is often the only one able to understand him. Groot comes from Planet X and is a member of the species known as Flora Colossus. His abilities include control over his own plant-like form, which allows him to grow and reshape at will, regenerate from damage, and even sprout flowers or produce light. He also possesses superhuman strength and durability. One of the most distinctive aspects of Groot is his limited vocabulary. He can only say “I am Groot,” but he uses different inflections to convey a wide range of emotions and meanings, which his friends, especially Rocket, are able to understand.
