Forge Update: New Characters, Stories, and More! 06/02/24 Greetings, fellow crafters of tales! The fires of the Digital Fable Forge have been burning bright, and we’ve been hard at work hammering out some exciting new updates for you. Enhanced Audio Experience Firstly, we’ve updated several stories on the site to include audio with music and sound effects for the first few chapters. Now, you can immerse yourself in our tales not just through words, but also through sound. Listen along as you read, and let the audio guide your imagination. And keep an ear out - we may revisit these audio tracks in the future to re- master them with new and improved sounds. YouTube Integration We’ve also added links to our YouTube videos on the appropriate pages. Now, you have the option to play the sound files directly from our site or watch the videos on YouTube. It’s all about giving you more ways to engage with our content. New Characters and Shows The character roster at the Digital Fable Forge is growing! We’ve been busy adding new characters to the site, and we’re excited to announce that we’ve just updated it with over 70 additional new characters and shows. The Character Detail pages for all of these are not up just yet, but they will be soon. Stay tuned! As mentioned in the previous news post, all stories now include links to the specific characters mentioned in the respective stories. This makes it easier for you to learn more about your favorite characters and their adventures. More Stories Coming Soon And last but not least, we have more stories completed and ready to be added to the site. One of these is a Batman Vs. Solid Snake story that was requested by one of our YouTube viewers. We can’t wait to share it with you! Expanded Character Pages We’re thrilled to announce that all categories on the website now have active character pages. This means you can now dive deeper into the worlds of your favorite characters across a wide range of genres. Please note, there’s one exception: the Action and Adventure categories are still sharing a page. This is because many Adventure movies and characters also fall under the Action category, and vice versa. We believe this shared page will provide a more streamlined experience for these interconnected genres. But that’s not all! The Kids, Historical, and Mystery categories now all have active pages of their own. So whether you’re looking for family-friendly tales, stories from the past, or thrilling mysteries, we’ve got you covered. Thank you for your continued support of Digital Fable Forge. We've been hammering away at the anvil of The DigitalFableForge.com, tempering the steel of our site. Nearly 60 links, once as brittle as unworked iron, have been reforged and are now as strong and reliable as a blacksmith's tongs. Should any of you discover a link as cold as a quenched blade, be the first to report it and earn a reward as unique as a blacksmith's mark - a character named after you in an upcoming tale! In other news, our Kickstarter Project, as bright and promising as a newly forged sword, has been approved and is ready to launch shortly. We're just sorting out the final details on promoting this exciting endeavor. We've also been gathering affiliate partners, carefully chosen for their fit with our audience, like a blacksmith selects the right alloy for his masterpiece. We're crafting attractive banners that harmonize with the aesthetics of our site, as a blacksmith would adorn a finely wrought piece. In addition, we've been fixing a few more nagging issues and making site improvements that, while they may go unnoticed, are as important as the unseen tempering of a blade. Finally, we're planning to update story pages to include links to character details for all characters mentioned in the story, if we have active profiles for them on the site. It's like adding intricate engravings to a finished piece, enhancing its beauty and value. Thank you for being part of our forging process. Our latest endeavor? A near site-wide update that's as comprehensive as a master blacksmith's toolkit. ## Page Renaming: Every Blade Gets a Name Just as every blade forged in our fires gets a name, so too have all our pages. Each one now proudly bears a title, a testament to its unique purpose within our digital armory. ## Font Adjustments: Harmonizing the Hammer Strikes We've adjusted the fonts across our site to ensure a consistent look and feel. Like the rhythmic strikes of a hammer shaping metal, our fonts now resonate in visual harmony. ## Link Corrections: Strengthening the Chainmail We've been busy correcting link issues, ensuring each connection is as strong as a well- forged chainmail. Nonworking links are now a thing of the past, (We Hope) and you'll find that pages now have names on top. ## Keyword Tags: Engraving Runes for the Search Engines We've added keyword tags, akin to engraving runes on a sword, to enhance our visibility in the vast battlefield of search engine results. ## Responsive Web Design: Flexibility of a Well-Tempered Blade We've hammered out a few more issues with our responsive web design, ensuring our site has the flexibility of a well-tempered blade, ready to adapt to any device. ## Page Design Updates: Preparing for Future Forging We've updated our page designs to allow for easier updates in the future. This may result in some newer content having a different format until we go back to reforge the older content. While many of these changes might not be immediately visible, rest assured, fellow smiths, they're as vital as the unseen tempering process that gives a blade its strength and resilience. The fires of the **Digital Fable Forge** have been burning bright and hot, and our diligent smiths have been hard at work hammering out the kinks and refining the structure of our beloved forge - our website. We're thrilled to announce that we've recently completed a **large site-wide update**, fixing many links and other issues that may have caused some hiccups in your journey through our digital storyscape. Our aim is to ensure that everyone has a smoother and more enjoyable time using and navigating the site. Our smiths have also been busy correcting some issues with the **responsive web design**. We've heard your feedback and we've taken it to heart. The anvil has been struck, the sparks have flown, and the result is a more responsive and user-friendly design that should now work much better across all devices.
