Red Hood

Red Hood, whose real name is Jason Todd, is a character from DC Comics. He was originally the second person to take on the mantle of Robin, Batman’s sidekick. However, after being violently killed by the Joker, Todd was revived via Ra’s al Ghul’s Lazarus Pit and subsequently turned into a more brutal and vicious, but still well- meaning crimefighter. As the Red Hood, Jason Todd is a vigilante anti-hero who fights to protect Gotham City with his dual-pistols and quite a bit of pent-up rage. He is known for his exceptional martial arts skills, combat strategy, and agility. He also uses customized weapons to fight crime. Jason Todd parted ways with Batman over their vastly different approaches to crimefighting, eventually founding his own team, the Outlaws. Traumatized by his own violent end, Jason returned to the world unhinged and bent on revenge. Not only for himself, but for everyone caught in the crossfire of the endless catch-and- release cycle of Gotham City’s super- villain underworld. Over time, Jason learned to deal with his rage in a way that didn’t rack up a body count and he made peace with Batman and his fellow superheroes. But the bad blood between him and his adoptive family is ever ready to paint their city red once more.
