Chapter 12:

Dooms Gambit

As the battle raged on, Dr. Doom saw an opportunity. He had been biding his time, waiting for the perfect moment. And now, it had come. He secretly devised a plan to harness the energy from the conflict, perhaps to enhance his own powers or to achieve some hidden objective. Unbeknownst to his allies, he managed to siphon off some of the Power Cosmic that Apocalypse was drawing from Galactus. His actions went unnoticed amidst the chaos of the battle, his betrayal hidden in plain sight. But as Dr. Doom reveled in his newfound power, he was unaware of the consequences of his actions. His betrayal would not go unnoticed for long, and the repercussions would be far-reaching. The battle against Galactus was far from over, and the council was about to face a new challenge from within their own ranks.
